Daughter of the King, I bring you good news from your Father. He said, “You are a Good thing!” Yes you! “You are a good thing!”
I know this is an awesome news but for some women it may sound like an oxymoron and it may even trigger bad memories. I know because this message is particularly for these special group of women. Its okay darling! Those mixed feelings swelling inside of you as a result of hearing this message are perfectly normal. I have lived there before; there were seasons and detours in my life where I thought nothing but the worst about myself because of life experiences, most of which I had no control over, but I let them shape my view and perspective about myself. So, I perfectly understand that “not-enough” feeling. I may not know exactly what you may have experienced or what you are going through that has made it difficult for you to believe it, but I am here to bring you good and warm tidings. You can learn to believe again! You can learn to give and receive love again! Be patient with you and your unique process. Just like God healed and helped me receive His love, He is willing and able to help you too. He is not a respecter of persons neither is He partial.
I am so sorry about the ill experiences, pain, disappointments and people in your life that made you feel you were/are not good enough. The Father desires to bring warmth to you in your winter, to ease and unwind the tensed muscles on your face into a smile and cause you to hope again!
God has not forgotten you, isn’t that amazing? He said in Isaiah 59:15 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” Your name is written on the palm of His hands, that is how close He holds you to Him. “See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.”(Isaiah 29:16a). You are His delight; “He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17b)
Do not let circumstances, opinions, your past, anything or anyone define how you see yourself. Your maker, the creator of the universe says, “You are a good thing!” You are so precious to Him that is why He sent His only son, Jesus, to die for your redemption. You are the Bride of Christ! He found you! “He who finds a wife finds a good thing.” (Proverbs 18:22a)
Raise your head and shoulders up, dry your tears of sorrow and rejoice in your new identity!
YOU ARE A GOOD THING!
“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good”
